This baby is the bees knees of teas. Zen monk Eisai Zenji (1141-1215) re-introduced tea to Japan after bringing tea seeds from the continent at the start of the 13th century. These tiny seeds have sprouted generation after generation of tea harvest culminating in this excelsior green mud. For when you really want to dazzle your guests with a memorable koicha.

This WE.TEA. was created for the first World Tea Gathering in Iceland. This matcha is inspired by the summer of Iceland - with a midnight sun that shares the sky with the moon. The romance of the two heavenly bodies light up the natural world with a rare spectrum of colour and energy.

Midnight Sun can be used for thin (usucha) and thick tea (koicha), both cold and hot. Even ice-cold koicha with this super-high quality matcha is delicious. Midnight Sun is your secret weapon for special occasions.
